Cabo Verde Elasmobranch Research and Conservation
The project will research shark, skate and ray species in the Cape Verde Archipelago, specifically growth, survival, movement and genetics in the Santa Luzia Reserve, and train local fishermen to identify and monitor these endangered species. The project will train fishermen to tag, mark, release sharks, skates and rays safely and how to collect data properly.
Current Location: Stralsund, Germany
Current Activity: Since November 2020 I work for the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation Germany in the
Division Human Impacts and Ecological Issues in Marine Activities.
