The CCRN is a strong network of many world-leading international scholars (see Researchers below), together with a diverse set of governmental, nongovernmental and community-based partners in Canada.
A major priority is the training of a new generation of researchers with capabilities in the CCRN’s research methods and our communities, conservation, livelihoods and policy themes. The CCRN has directly funded 15 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. We also support another 40 students who are co-funded by our academic researchers. Most of these students are at various stages of progress in academic studies (see Students below), while others have successfully completed their degrees (see Graduates below).
